A Little Information about bots

1. Bots don’t take everything.
Due to limitations from facebook a bot can only refresh the feed every 30 seconds. Any faster and the bot user’s account can be suspended or permanently taken down. So this means that the majority of “rares” posted in that time will already have been taken by normal players.

2. Spotting bots.

A lot of people claim you can spot a bot user because they do not “like” any posts. Quite the opposite, on most bots there is the option to “like” all posts that are collected, this makes your method of spotting them ineffective.

They like the bot’s Facebook page, people sometimes download a bot or like the page and never actually use the bot. Always check before removing.

3. The effect of the limit

A lot of people think that now bots are seriously hurt. Are they? Not really, as in most of the big bots you can select what things you want to collect, so if you only want rainbow & Candy cane eggs you can deselect the rest. And because Zynga has shut out people who sit on the feed refreshing the links last longer and the bots end up with more rare items.

4. People levelling up fast.

When you see a neighbour level up from level 104 to level 114 in a day don’t jump to the conclusion that they must have used a bot or other programme to get there. There are perfectly legitimate ways to do that. For starts, if you have enough belted cows you can easily make 10 million coins in one day by breeding the dairy barn, over ten days this results in 100 million coins produced. If they spend 100 million coins on 100 more cows they will easily make that level jump in a matter of hours! Also if you believe ‘breeding’ is cheating then don't forget that they could easily have 100 million saved.
